LARS Cylinder Replacement and Upgrade Campaign

Between April and June 2026, Kverneland Aqua supported a maintenance and upgrade campaign onboard a Boskalis offshore construction vessel in Spain. The project focused on the removal of hydraulic cylinders from the vessel’s Launch and Recovery System (LARS), enabling refurbishment and upgrade work to be carried out at a specialized hydraulic workshop in the Netherlands before reinstallation and return to service.

The campaign was executed while coordinating multiple stakeholders, including vessel personnel, hydraulic specialists and logistics providers, ensuring minimal disruption to the vessel’s operational schedule.
