Lynx Wireline Winch System

Wireline operations place high demands on lifting equipment. The winch must provide precise control, predictable performance, and reliable operation under challenging offshore conditions where equipment failure can result in costly delays.

For this project, Kverneland Aqua delivered hydraulic wireline winches for use within the Lynx intervention system. The scope included engineering, fabrication, assembly, hydraulic integration, testing, certification and documentation of ATEX-certified winches intended for operation in hazardous offshore environments. The delivery comprised both a 7.5-ton and a 2.0-ton hydraulic winch, manufactured and delivered within a demanding project schedule.

The equipment was designed for offshore well intervention activities where controlled wire handling, operational safety and equipment reliability are critical factors. Particular attention was given to hydraulic performance, mechanical integrity, operator safety and compliance with offshore certification requirements.
