Engineering, fabrication, machining, assembly, testing and project execution.
Offshore operations often require hoses, service lines and control cables to move safely between fixed and rotating equipment. Poor line management can increase wear, create operational challenges and introduce unnecessary risks during deployment and recovery operations.
For this project, Kverneland Aqua delivered a complete turntable assembly and control package designed to provide controlled rotation and secure routing of service lines in demanding offshore environments. The system was manufactured, assembled and prepared for integration according to customer specifications, including surface treatment in accordance with NORSOK requirements.
The delivery demonstrates the importance of combining fabrication, machining, assembly and documentation within a single project. While the turntable itself appears mechanically straightforward, successful offshore equipment requires careful attention to tolerances, corrosion protection, assembly quality and verification before entering service.
